Editorial Board member profile: Prof. Charles C.Y. Wang (USA)
The editorial team of Virtus Interpress is glad to introduce one of the editorial board members of Corporate Ownership and Control journal.
Charles C.Y. Wang is an associate professor of business administration at Harvard Business School (Accounting and Management Unit) and currently teaches the Business Analysis and Valuation course in the MBA elective curriculum.
Prof. Wang has also taught executives in Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation as well as first-year MBAs in Financial Reporting and Control. He is a former lecturer in law and economics at Harvard Law School and a past fellow in its Olin Program on Corporate Governance.
Prof. Wang holds a PhD and an MA in economics from Stanford University and an MS in statistics, also from Stanford.
Prof. Wang’s sphere of research refers to empirical asset pricing, equity valuation, corporate governance, and financial regulation.
Prof. Wang’s research has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Accounting and Economics. His research findings have been cited more than 1200 times (including such media outlets as The Economist, the Financial Times, The New York Times Dealbook, U.S. News, Smart Money) according to Google Scholar.
