International Online Conference (May 13-14, 2021)
The Publishing House Virtus Interpress together with Virtus Global Center for Corporate Governance are pleased to announce that in spring 2021 we are going to organise the next international online conference titled “Corporate Governance: A Search for Emerging Trends in the Pandemic Times” .
The conference will take place on May 13-14, 2021 .
The upcoming online conference will focus on a broad range of crucial issues of corporate governance, in particular, on the emerging corporate governance trends in the context of the worldwide pandemic. The discussed topics will include, among others, corporate regulation, earnings management, IT governance, financial reporting, accounting, audit, corporate social responsibility and compliance, board of directors’ practices, disclosure and transparency issues, shareholders’ rights, etc. The main goal of the conference is to analyse the new trends that are appearing in the corporate governance sphere and to invoke discussion of them that is a major value of the scholarly research. You are invited to submit an extended abstract of the paper (400-1000 words) or a full paper (up to 6000 words), including the title and affiliation by e-mail:

We’ll continue following our strategy regarding the publication of the conference proceedings where all the extended abstracts accepted for presentation at the conference will be published. The conference proceedings will be Open Access, which provides the best opportunities for the research to make the biggest impact on the academic community. You may find examples of the proceedings of the previous conferences here: "Corporate Governance: An Interdisciplinary Outlook in the Wake of Pandemic" and "Corporate Governance: Examining Key Challenges and Perspectives".
All the papers presented at the conference may be also published in one of the special issues of the Virtus Interpress journals. These papers will be subject to a separate double-blind reviewing process after the conference.
