Journal of Governance and Regulation: Feedback from stakeholders

Publishing House “Virtus Interpress” and the editorial team of Journal of Governance and Regulation are pleased to share the latest feedback from our authors.

  • Dr. Ivo Pezzuto, Professor of Global Economics and Disruptive Innovation, International School of Management, Paris, France: I have started my collaboration with the Journal of Governance and Regulation and with Virtus Interpress in 2012 when I was invited to publish a new paper with the Journal on the topic of the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 and to contribute a keynote address at the VII international scientific and practical conference of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine Sumy, 24-25 May, 2012. It has been a pleasant surprise and honor for me to discover through those initial collaborations with the Publisher that I was receiving the same quality of attentions, rigorous support, and professionalism I had experienced collaborating with leading global publishers of scholarly papers in the USA, U.K., India, and other locations. I have immediately appreciated their high ethical and transparency standards; their rigorous double-blind peer review process; their clear and straight-forward procedures; their respect of clear deadlines for the review of the papers; the excellent feedback and recommendations I have received as author of papers from reviewers; and mostly, their restless commitment to constantly improving their processes, performances and standards to the highest level and their truly independent, fact-based, forward-thinking, unbiased, an open-minded view on governance and regulation. It has been indeed a quite long and highly satisfactory journey for me to collaborate with Virtus Interpress since I have published several papers with them over the years; I have contributed my expertise serving as Reviewer; I have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence as Reviewer in 2019; I have been a Member of the Editorial Board since 2015 and I have become a member of the Advisory Board of the Journal and member of the Virtus Global Center for Corporate Governance since 2017. For all these excellent reasons, I strongly encourage researchers to consider submitting their manuscripts to the Journal of Governance and Regulation since it will allow them to become contributors to one of the leading global communities of experts and scholars on Corporate Governance and Regulation.
  • Brendan Walker-Munro, University of Swinburne, Australia: It was fantastic to work with such a dedicated and approachable team at Virtus. I appreciated the feedback from the Editor as well as the reviewers, and was able to have the paper published in very quick time. The editorial team were always available and responded quickly to my enquiries – an amazing experience all around.
  • Lin Lingnan, Tsinghua University, China: It was an awesome experience working with the editors of the Journal of Governance and Regulation. The review report is feeded back promptly. The final publication of my paper is also very quick and impressive. In a word, the editors of the Journal of Governance and Regulation are professional and highly efficient, it is enjoyable cooperating with them. Wish the Journal of Governance and Regulation a brighter future.
