Key-note speech of Prof. Hermalin in Rome

We are glad to announce that at the International Conference "Financial Distress: Corporate Governance and Financial Reporting Issues " that will take place in Rome in October 17-18, 2013, one of the key-note speakers, Professor Benjamin E. Hermalin from the University of California, Berkeley will give a speech named "In Defense of Theory in the Study of Corporate Governance".

Professor Hermalin will present a complex study with a fresh view on the arguable points of corporate governance, motives and reasons for enhancing governance and nature of its link to firm performance.
