Paris, home to the ISTEC, is the capital of France and the country’s largest city. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region. Paris has many nicknames, but its most famous is "La Ville-Lumiere" (literally, "The Light City") a name it owes both to its fame as a centre of education and ideas and its early adoption of street lighting. Three of the most famous Parisian landmarks are the twelfth century cathedral Notre Dame de Paris on the Île de la Cité, the nineteenth century Eiffel Tower, and the Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe.

Organizers of the conference are going to arrange a tour by Siene River around Paris for the conference participants. To know more about fees please visit this page.
